A Pennsylvania teenager says his First Amendment rights were violated later a photo of him wearing a "Make America Great Over again" lid was apparently edited for his high school yearbook.
Jeremy Gebhart, 16, says he's a fan of President Donald Trump and wanted to limited his support in the yearbook at Littlestown Loftier School, which is about 150 miles west of Philadelphia.
Gebhart and a friend wore the hats in the photo. Both of their hats were edited, he said.
"I just recollect he wants to help our state, and I remember he is," Gebhart told WPMT-Goggle box.
Commune officials take not publicly said who at the school was responsible for the editing.
In a statement, Superintendent Christopher Bigger apologized for the issue.
"It is not the policy or practice of the district to improperly conscience speech," he wrote.
Gebhart said information technology's "OK to disagree with people's views, just what'south non OK is taking your freedom of speech and using information technology to take abroad someone else'southward."
